PP hollow corrugated board (PP hollow corrugated board/PP corrugated board/PP hollow lattice board) is a lightweight hollow structural board made of polypropylene (PP) resin through extrusion molding. Its cross-section is grid-like, consisting of two flat panels and a corrugated or ribbed layer in the middle, exhibiting structural characteristics similar to corrugated cardboard, but made of plastic. PP hollow boards are characterized by being non-toxic and odorless, 100% recyclable, lightweight, low-temperature resistant, waterproof and moisture-proof, corrosion-resistant, impact-resistant, and capable of absorbing energy and reducing noise. A PP hollow corrugated board extrusion production line is a complete set of automated extrusion molding equipment specifically designed for producing this type of board. Through a single-screw or twin-screw extrusion system, vacuum shaping and calibration, multi-stage cooling, and precision cutting processes, PP raw materials are transformed into hollow board products with wide widths, uniform thickness, and a smooth appearance.

Application

PP hollow corrugated sheet is also named as corflute sheet,plastic fluted sheet,cartonplast sheet,coroplast sheet which is made of polypropylene(PP) resin and filers.The raw material could be recycled and virgin.


pp corrugated board is a kind of lightweight, high strength, corrosion resistant plastic sheet. Due to its material properties, PP corrugated panels can indeed be easily processed in a variety of ways, including:

Die cutting: PP corrugated board can be accurately cut using a die to form the desired shape and size.

Sealing: PP corrugated panels can be sealed by heat sealing or adhesive to form a sealed package or structure.

Welding: Through techniques such as thermal welding or ultrasonic welding, PP corrugated panels can be joined together to form a strong structure.

Bending: PP corrugated board has a certain flexibility, can be bent to adapt to different design needs.

CNC engraving: Using CNC engraving machine, fine engraving and cutting can be carried out on PP corrugated board.

Printing: The surface of PP corrugated board is smooth and suitable for screen printing or digital printing to add patterns or text.

Plastic PP Corrugated Sheet Making Machine Description

1.Single screw extruder adopts specially designed screw L/D 36:1 which could improve the plasticization and increase the proportion of fillers;

2.Equipped with melt gear pump that could supply stable pressure to the T-die;

3.T-die adopts high quality 5CrNiMo mould steel with the feature of high-strength,long lifetime and corrosion resistance.

4.Haul off adopts high quality NBR material

5.Machine adopts Siemens motor,ABB inverter,Schneider contactor and Omron temperature controller.Reliable electrical components and special designed program could guarantee the machine running smoothly,save power and reduce the waste.



How It Works:

The production process involves several key stages:
  1. Material Feeding: Polypropylene (PP) granules are introduced into the hopper, where they are steadily fed into the extruder.

  2. Extrusion: Inside the extruder, the material is melted and homogenized using a precision-engineered screw, ensuring optimal plasticization.

  3. Forming: The molten material is shaped into sheets through a T-die, followed by vacuum calibration that defines the hollow structure.

  4. Cooling and Sizing: The sheet passes through temperature-controlled rollers, which cool and stabilize the material while maintaining uniform thickness.

  5. Cutting and Stacking: The finished sheets are automatically cut to size and stacked neatly for packaging or further processing.
